Aman is a Master's student at the University of Waterloo, School of Environment, Resources, and Sustainability, studying sustainable agriculture in the age of climate change. He has worked in the Soil Ecosystem Dynamics Lab with Dr. Maren Oelbermann since September 2022, and previously as a research assistant in the soil chemistry, fertility, and water quality program at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.

He is researching plant nutrient acquisition in cold-climate northern agricultural forage crop systems, working in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador at three sites (Taiga Valley, Nature's Best, and Birch Lane). His research addresses nutrient availability in boreal sandy podzolic soils and the nutrient-use efficiency of forage peas and oats under a variety of organic amendments.
